Privacy

This search page helps readers find information on BATAM.co.id and helps the editors learn which topics are missing.

What we store: your search text after removing phone numbers, ID numbers, emails and other personal data; your country (from Cloudflare); and a random code derived from a masked network address that changes every month. We do not store full IP addresses, names or accounts.

Purpose: showing results and answers, preventing bot abuse, and building a list of topics to cover. Legal basis: legitimate interest in operating a public information service.

Retention: per-visit search text is deleted automatically after 90 days; only topic summaries without per-person data remain.

Third parties: Cloudflare (network and Turnstile bot protection). To produce answer summaries, the cleaned question text is sent to our language-processing provider without any network address or identifier. Summaries are built only from BATAM.co.id content.

Questions or deletion requests: contact the editors at https://batam.co.id/kontak/.
